Despite the dreadful weather for both sites we had a good  turnout of Trainees, Friends and Supporters.  We added some fun and games at Offham with a penalty shot game and a coconut shy, plus wack the rat which  as well as creating plenty of fun, raised extra funds for Spadework. Representatives from Nizels Golf Course came and had a look at the work of the Trainees at Offham.  They were so impressed that they have agreed to make Spadework their Charity  for the year.  We  look forward to working with them in the future.

Congratulations to Steve Cable, our local Community Police Officer, who has kindly run the London Marathon in aid of Spadework. Thanks to his stamina and hard work we have managed to raise in the region of £1200 which will go a long way towards improving our training and facilities here at Spadework! The staff and Trainees would like to thank Steve very much for his efforts. Steve completed the Marathon in 3 hours and 4 minutes. Thank you to all who supported him
